In this class, chef Mike will talk about simple kitchen skills. Topics will include the difference between sautéing, roasting and braising; knife skills and sharpening, fresh herbs vs. dry - just to name a few possibilities. This will be a student driven class, we will discuss whatever you want! Don’t forget to bring your favorite chef knife, you will have the opportunity to sharpen it using a stone and hone it with a steel.
